VTT Protect-A-Pac
The Protect-A-Pak shock indicator is self-adhesive and measures shocks in all directions.
The plastic housing has 2 springs which are clamped between 2 balls each. This disposable shock indicator can be self-adhesively attached to the shipping goods or inside the outer packaging with the mounting flange.
The tension of the springs is calibrated to withstand forces up to the respective g-value. If the acceleration is greater, at least one ball jumps out and falls into the plastic case.
Since the springs are mounted at an angle of 90°, all shock directions can be monitored.
